This project, completed in 2018 involved acquiring approximately 8,000 lineal feet for the construction of a bike trail and park through former Bethlehem Steel lands. Besides the current owners, Bethlehem Steel, Inc., Tecumseh Redevelopment Inc. and Gateway Trade Center, Inc. a large segment of the trail is in the bed of the Hamburg Turnpike. Reputed owners ranged from a turnpike company long since disbanded, to the City of Lackawanna and its predecessor. Proving this required unique challenges, requiring extensive research in the law library. Other parts of the proposed trail were in various states of environmental remediation, and subject to many easements and leases, all that required addressing.

Eastern Right of Way Services, Inc. coordinated acquisition with various municipal entities including the City of Buffalo, County of Erie, and the City of Lackawanna, and with the Department of Environmental Conservation and the Harris Beach law firm. The project was completed on time and on budget. 

This completed project consisted of acquiring 13 Properties for the addition of roundabouts for the safety of motorists on Parker Boulevard.  One of the main issues was dealing with National Fuel and Lamar Advertising over a Billboard that needed to be removed. The project was completed on time.
